Details: On February 4th, 2016, at approximately 11:29 pm Deputy F. Cobas with Precinct Four Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 500 block of the N. N. Beltway 8 W. Upon making contact with the driver/defendant, Kevin Fellers, Dep. Cobas could smell a strong odor of alcohol emitting from Fellers’ breath. Further investigation by Dep. Cobas revealed that Fellers was intoxicated. Fellers was arrested, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and booked into the Harris County Jail.

Beltway 8 W. in reference to a major accident. Upon Deputy Netro’s arrival, the complainant reported that the defendant, Matthew Weismantel, had struck his vehicle with and then fled the scene. Further investigation by Dep. Netro revealed that Weismantel was intoxicated and fled the scene of the accident and assaulted a Peace Officer. Weismantel was arrested, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Stop and Render Aide and Assault on a Peace Officer, and booked into the Harris County Jail
