Harris County deputies responded to 11711 Hillbrook Avenue in the Lakewood Forest area (Heatherwood Village) of Tomball after being requested to do a welfare check on a female. There, they discovered a deceased female. This information had been passed onto them by officials in Leon County, just outside Normangee. At that scene late Saturday afternoon a Leon Deputy was shot. He is now stable after being flown to Scott White in Temple. A standoff had taken place at the Leon County scene. Once entry was made, they found two deceased males and a deceased dog. It is believed that the female in Tomball is the mother to the male who shot the deputy in Leon County. The two deceased males in Leon County are believed to be the shooter and his father.
