HCSO Arrest Four In Home Burglary

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Safe Home Task Force have arrested and charged three (3) adults and one (1) juvenile with burglary of a habitation, following the burglary of one home and attempted burglary of two others in the North West Park subdivision.
HCSO patrol deputies responded to a burglary call at a residence in the 7100 block of Greenyard in north Harris County. The homeowners told deputies that they left their home at 7:00pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2015. They returned to their home an hour later to find it burglarized.
While deputies were interviewing the residents, a call for service was received at the 7200 block Seton Lake in reference to a black male who attempted to force entry into a home. A witness described the suspects’ vehicle as a dark colored SUV.
At 9:45pm a call for service was received at a residence in the 6500 block of Northleaf, where a black male attempted to kick open the front door of a residence and fled when confronted by the residents.
While deputies were speaking with the complainants at the Seton Lake location, the vehicle matching the description was seen driving towards the area with its light off.
The vehicle fled when confronted by deputies. A perimeter was set in the neighborhood, the vehicle was later found in the 10200 block of Trade Winds – less than a mile from the original location.
Deputies recovered the property and personal items stolen from the Greenyard residence.
During the search, a resident told deputies that three men were hiding along the side of a residence not far from where the SUV was abandoned. The witness observed the suspects flee the area in a Chevrolet sedan. A description of the vehicle was broadcasted to deputies who later stopped the vehicle in the surrounding area. All three suspects were arrested along with driver who picked them up.

Juvenile; 16 years of age; Burglary of a Habitation
Trayonte Sylvester; (DOB 12/08/1997); Burglary of a Habitation
Leandrew Sylvester; (DOB 07-17-1996); Possession of Marijuana
Edgar Harrell; (DOB 04/21/1996) Burglary of a Habitation, Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle.
Another successful apprehension made possible by the dedicated district deputies, investigators, and the alert citizens who reported the location of the suspects.
