HCSO Arrests 3 in Capital Murder Case

Alert PhotoThe Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit has charged three individuals with capital murder in the death of a man reported missing last week.
Investigators have charged Juan Lopez (DOB 11/04/93), Carino Ratcliff (DOB 04/12/97), and Cierra Jacobs (DOB 09/03/94, in the death of the 60 year old male.

The victim’s sister reported him missing on May 14, 2014 after he failed to meet her that day and she was unable to contact him. She provided investigators with information which indicated the victim may have been the victim of foul play.
On Tuesday May 20, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit recovered the remains of the

Alert Photomale in a retention pond in the 3400 block of DeSoto in north Houston.

The positive identification and cause of death are to be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Robbery appears to be the motive for the death. All three defendants are currently booked into the Harris County Jail with no bond in the 182nd District Court. The investigation is on-going at this time.
