HCSO ATTEMPTING TO IDENTIFY SHOOTER IN FRIDAY CYPRESS HOMICIDE

On Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office District IV deputies were dispatched to an “In Progress” call at a residence located on the 16000 block of Kildeer Point Dr., near SH 99 and US 290 in the Stone Creek Ranch Subdivision.  On arrival, deputies observed a male, Dustin Boroff (03-09-1983), beyond help on the floor. He was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS. Deputies learned the decedent and his wife were hanging out with their friend at this residence. No signs of trauma were observed on the body at this time. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and conducted the investigation. Detectives interviewed witnesses, collected evidence, and later learned 42 year 42-year-old Dustin Boroff suffered from at least one gunshot wound.
