HCSO Seeks Public’s Help in Homicide Investigation

On Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at approximately 5 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a found body in the 17600 block of Youpon Street in east Harris County.

When the investigators arrived, they met with an individual who had discovered the body of a deceased female, now identified as 42-year-old Jessica Stabler, just off the roadway in a heavily wooded area.

The Institute of Forensic Science has determined that homicide was the cause of death of Ms. Stabler.

HCSO Homicide investigators are asking anyone with information on this case or information on the circumstances of her death to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100.
