Tonight’s Outlook Watching two areas of thunderstorms that may impact our area: a line of thunderstorms to the northwest, another to the west (circled in diagram).
Locations/Timing The cluster of storms to the west will likely cross the area from west to east between midnight and 5 am. The line of storms to the northwest may clip NW counties during the same period. By sunrise, showers and thunderstorms should be confined closer to the coast and offshore. Storms should move away from the area by late morning.
Rainfall Widespread heavy rainfall is not expected. However, isolated 2-3” totals are possible. This would produce localized flooding impacts.
Wind/Large Hail A few large hail and damaging wind reports are possible especially north and west sections.
