Herman’s Heroes Recover Three Stolen Vehicles

SPRING, TX– On Thursday a targeted investigation by Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit led to the recovery of three stolen vehicles and the arrest of a suspect in North Harris County.

Deputies were dispatched to the 21300 block of Falvel Road to follow up on the location of a reported stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, they made contact with a man later identified as William Michael Rice.

While on the scene, deputies discovered two stolen vehicles in Rice’s possession on the property. During the course of the investigation, Rice admitted that a third stolen vehicle was being kept in a nearby storage unit located in the 22400 block of Rothwood Road.

Deputies quickly responded to the storage facility and successfully recovered the third stolen vehicle. All three vehicles were returned to the rightful owners or held as evidence.

“William Michael Rice was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft of a Vehicle and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His total bond was set at $31,000 out of the 488th District Court,” said Constable Mark Herman in an official statement.

The swift actions of Constable Herman’s Special Operations Unit underscore their continued efforts to combat auto theft and property crime throughout Harris County.
