Heroin and Meth off the streets

On June 25, 2019, Deputies with the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on Dobbin Huffsmith road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Misty Gilbert, a 38-year-old female from Magnolia, Texas. During a search of the vehicle, a bag was found containing 1.2 grams of Heroin, 2 loaded syringes of Heroin, a ball of foil containing 8.1 grams of Methamphetamine, a baggie containing .8 grams of Methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke Methamphetamine. The total weight of the Methamphetamine was 8.9 grams.
Misty was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) a second-degree felony and for possession of a controlled substance (Heroin) a third-degree felony. Misty was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and released to jail staff.
Constable Chris Jones comments: “The Precinct 5 Constable’s Office will continue to proactively patrol the streets in Montgomery County. We will actively pursue anyone engaged in narcotics activity and the future of our community will not be left in the hands of criminals. We look forward to working with the public and our law enforcement partners as we continue to keep the streets safe in our area.”
