He’s Not Bruce, But Cops Say He Thinks He Was ‘Born to Run’!

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On November 28, a Lieutenant with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6200 block of FM 1960 E. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit. During the pursuit, the driver lost control and crashed in the 7300 block of FM 1960. The driver then exited the vehicle and fled on foot, leaving a critically injured woman in the passenger seat.

Deputies found the driver and he was identified as Jacob Turner, who already had two open felony warrants for Evading Arrest and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

“Jacob Turner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $25,000 out of 248th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.

Turner is now in the Harris County Jail charged with two counts of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, one count of Evading Arrest / Detention with a Vehicle, and one count of Evading Arrest / Detention with Previous Conviction.
