If you’re trying to avoid the cops, maybe don’t drive through half the shopping center like it’s a game of Grand Theft Auto. While attempting to leave Denny’s, about 1 am Thursday morning, one driver made a bold escape across multiple businesses to dodge Precinct 4 deputies. Spoiler alert: It didn’t work. Deputies noticed several violations before the suspect, identified as Zayn Omar Rashid, 25, of 11627 Trail Point in Tomball, even hit the street. A quick traffic stop later, and shrooms plus some THC wax were found in the car.
Driver’s final stop? Montgomery County Jail. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
