Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a tragic auto–pedestrian crash in the 19541 Kuykendahl Rd area. Upon arrival, they discovered a male pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate medical efforts, he sadly succumbed to his injuries on scene. The driver involved in a silver four-door sedan fled the location and has not been identified. The Accident Investigation Team responded, processed the scene with advanced mapping technology, and recovered video of the suspect vehicle. Detectives are actively following leads.
