The Cleveland Police Department continues to ask for the public’s help in locating the vehicle that was involved in the hit and run that occurred in the early morning hours of May 31.
The suspected vehicle is believed to be dark in color, possibly maroon.
The vehicle would have been traveling west, out of Cleveland, at approximately 4:00 a.m. on FM 2025. The accident took place in front of the apartment building which is located just north/east of US 59. The vehicle possibly continued to travel straight (west) on FM 2025 or exited north/south on US 59.

The Cleveland Police Department with the assistance from the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office has been able to positively identify the victim as Clara Hightower Baines (age 55), resident of Cleveland.
