Home Invasion Suspects Busted!

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Wednesday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 13400 block of Greenlow Drive at Rankin Road. The occupants were identified as 28-year-old Demerce Dennis, who had an open warrant for Indecent Assault, 27-year-old Harron Jennings, who was allegedly in possession of illegal narcotics and 45-year-old Tommy Armstead, a convicted felon.

During the traffic stop, the investigation revealed the vehicle was suspected to be the one involved in a Monday home-invasion in the Gleannloch Farms neighborhood of Klein, where four armed men wearing ski masks forced their way into entry into a family home and robbed the residents at gunpoint.

Deputies say the men they stopped had multiple guns, ski masks, and clothing items matching those used by suspects during the home invasion. Constable Deputies were able to positively match through surveillance video.

“All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Dennis Demerce was arrested for the open warrant and charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His total bond has not been set out of the 486th District Court and County Court 16. Harron Jennings was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tommy Armstead was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Their bond has not been set out of the 486th District Court,”  Constable Mark Herman said.
