Sunday night, at approximately 10:40 p.m., the Conroe Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Avenue G in reference to an assist Fire/EMS call. Upon arrival, Officers
discovered the victim, identified as 41-year-old Juan Hernandez, had a single gunshot wound to the head. Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene. The initial investigation revealed that there was a disturbance and a physical altercation between the deceased and the suspect. The investigation is ongoing and no further information can be released at this time. Chief Buckholtz and the Conroe Police Department would like to send their prayers and condolences to the Hernandez family.
