Grime s County Sheriffs Office is currently investigating homicide after receiving a report from the College Station Police Department Detectives of a female arriving at the police department about 5 pm on Sunday. She told College Station Detectives that she wanted to turn herself in for a stolen car. She stated the car, owned by her boyfriend, Francisco Silva was in the parking lot at CiCi’s Pizza. When detectives went to the scene they found the black Chevy Impala. Inside they found a pistol and her dog which she also killed. When they asked her where Silva was, she stated he was gone and that she killed him earlier in the day and gave them a location in Grimes County. The female identified as Kelsie Lee Fowler –Rodriguez, 20, of College Station told investigators the Silva picked her up earlier in the day to go shooting at a friends property in Grimes County. They had been dating on and off for some time. She admitted that she had planned to shoot him even before the incident on Sunday.
After subsequent investigation conducted by CSPD Detectives, Grimes County Sheriffs Office located the body of a deceased person who was identified as Fransisco Silva, 22 years of age of Bryan at a property on CR. 157 near the Iola Community with an apparent gunshot wound. Silva was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grimes County Justice of Peace Gene Stapleton and has been ordered for autopsy.
The suspect Kelsie Lee Fowler –Rodriguez, 20, of College Station has been arrested for Murder and is being booked into the Grimes County Jail. This case is an on-going investigation currently being conducted by Grimes County Sheriffs Investigators, College Station Police Detectives and the Texas Rangers.
