Early Saturday afternoon MCHD was dispatched to a reported shooting in the Tamina Community off Main and Rhodes. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The victim was transported to Hermann Hospital in critical condition where he later died. At this time Montgomery County Sheriff”s Office Detectives and the Texas Rangers are on the scene investigating. A DPS Helicopter remained over the scene for several hours searching for the suspect. Detectives are referring everything to the PIO. We are awaiting word.
