Shortly before 10pm Wednesday night New Caney and Caney Creek Fire Departments were dispatched to a house fire at 15268 FM 1485 next to Whispering Oaks Church. When they arrived they found a house on the property of Shiloh Specialty Machine totally involved and surrounded by a six foot chain link fence.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies cut the lock allowing the mn and equipment to immediately begin fighting the blaze.
It was brought under control in a short time. There were no injuries and the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s office was notified.
