HOUSTON POLICE LOOKING FOR HIT AND RUN SUSPECT

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident in the 10200 block of Aldine Westfield about 10:25 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 31).

The male victim, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roberts and Officer L. Galvan reported:

The victim appeared to be walking in the roadway, possibly northbound, in the 10200 block of Aldine Westfield. A white Chevrolet sport utility vehicle, also traveling northbound, struck the victim and continued north without stopping to provide assistance.

At this time, there are no known witnesses.

  1. Another hit and run, what a surprise! Sad situation, getting to the point that we all need to check the neighbors car for damages each night. When will this stop? If i were a police office I would be so mad and discouraged to deal with this stuff each day.
