HOUSTON POLICE LOSE RACE TO HOUSTON STREET RACERS

The Houston Street Racers and the Houston Police finally took to the track after all the races were completed Saturday night at the Highway 105 Speedway in Cleveland. What started out as a 30-lap race with the old Crown Vic’s ended up in a destruction derby complete with multiple pit maneuvers. Randy Seals, who organized the event was arrested during the Y2K Event in Houston a few weeks ago for street racing. He was released from the Harris County Jail almost 24 hours later. He immediately took to Facebook challenging the Houston Police Officers Union to an actual race at the dirt track of the 105 Speedway. They accepted and Randy went to work acquiring a dozen Crown Vics. Within a week he had them stripped down and cages installed in them. The stands were full when they took to the track. It was a 30-lap, with no red or caution flags and basically no rules.
