HOUSTON ROCKETS HONOR PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICIALS

Tuesday night was the first time in almost 47 years of the Houston Rockets history that they have honored public safety officials during the half-time show. They say now it won’t be a last.

The Houston Rockets played the Phoenix Suns and when halftime came around several areas public safety officers took center stage on the court. Among them was Liberty County  Precinct 6 Constable John Joslin; his Chief Deputy Larry Allen, and two of his Deputies- Rick Stewart and Mickey.  Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden and his Chief Deputy Barry Welch were also honored. From Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Rob Hickman and his Chief Deputy Sumner and DPS License and Weight Trooper Reynolds made the list, along with a Beaumont Police Officer, an FBI Agent, and Houston Fire Captain.

In addition to them being on the court, they watched the game from a suite, high atop Toyota Center.
