Hundreds of friends and supporters turned out Thursday night at the Yellow Rose in New Caney for Consable Rowdy Haydens yearly campaign benefit. The event included barbeque, silent auction and a live auction consisting of cakes, weapons, outdoor furniture and many other items. Constable Hayden who was a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy in 1991 then took over the helm at Precinct 4 in 2009. This is his third term he is seeking. Hayden and his officers are best known as “The Men In Black” came through with his campaign promise to take the neighborhoods of East Montgomery County back. Since then his team, besides serving civil papers has over 800 arrests a year, almost 6 times the number of all other Constables Offices combined.
Hayden also gave his usual yearly contribution to Prioject Graduation for the schools in East County.
