3:10 p.m. UPDATE –

The pursuit continued northbound almost to Madison County before the suspect again u-turned on I-45 and again headed south. Around mile marker 127, the suspect crashed into the median and struck a cable barrier. He then exited the vehicle and began to try and run from police but was apprehended by Huntsville Police, who initiated the pursuit.

2:50 p.m. The pursuit was southbound on I-45, but the suspect u-turned around the Montgomery County line and the pursuit is now northbound at 100 miles per hour. They’re approaching Hwy 30 now. DPS is also involved in the pursuit.
