Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has cleared the scene of a motorcyclist who was shot in the back on I-45 north of Rayford Road on the feeder. The cyclist has been transported to the hospital in critical condition but passed away at about 3:30 pm. A short time after that another shooting victim showed up at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigators also responded to that scene. It is not known if they are related. About 40 minutes later three more bikers were shot on I-45 just south of Huntsville. At least two of those are deceased. I-45 at mile marker 114 near the statue and Highway 19 is closed completely. Walker County says it will be closed into this evening as that scene is investigated.
