IDENTITIES OF DRIVER AND PASSENGER OF TRUCK IN DOUBLE FATAL RELEASED

Just after 3 am East Montgomery County Fire Department was dispatched to a major accident with fire. Enroute they were advised wreckers were already on the scene attempting to remove a victim from a burning car. In addition,Elisa Strong was down the street at Colemans Grocery when they heard the cash. She was one that attempted to help. After breaking the window out of the truck she and another were able to remove one victim. EMC Fire arrived on the scene and advised that one person was in a black Camaro which was fully involved in fire and unable to rescue the driver. Medics transported a 22,year-old male driver of the pickup identified as Collen Skelly of Huffman to Memorial Hermann Woodlands in critical condition, He was pronounced deceased a short time later. The passenger in the truck 22-year-old Michael Longoria was also transported in critical condition. The victim in the Camero was burned beyond recognition and Troopers are attempting to identify the person and whether it is a male or female. According to DPS speed and possibly alcohol were a factor in the driver of the white truck who they determined to be traveling east on FM 1485. The Camaro was westbound when the 2018 truck crossed the center line and hit the car head-on. FM 1485 reopened at 9 am.
