The driver of the motorcycle crash on FM 1485 just East of the Montgomery County line has been identified as Matthew Ryan Young.
*****************************Just before 8 p.m. DPS was working an accident on FM 1485 east. As his witness left the trooper needed one more piece of information and called him on his cell phone. As he was talking with him the witnesses who was eastbound on FM 1485 advised the Trooper he just ran up on a serious crash. The Trooper responded to the scene where he found a motorcycle with extensive damage and a vehicle with a female trapped. There was no rider with the motorcycle. Further investigation found the rider almost seventy feet away, he was deceased.
Since it was just across the Harris/Montgomery County line, Harris County was notified and responded with their crash team. Huffman Fire Department was dispatched and had to cut the female driver out of the car. She was then transported to Kingwood Hospital in stable condition.
The motorcycle was scattered in pieces for over one-hundred-fifty feet.
According to witnesses and the Harris County Sheriffs Office, The Suzuki was traveling westbound on FM 1485 at a very high rate of speed when he appeared to have lost control in the curve and went into the oncoming lane. He then struck the passenger car before being ejected.
The female driver has not yet been identified but is 54 years old. The motorcycle rider has not been identified as of this time. He was transported to the Harris County Medical Examiners Office for autopsy. Deputies estimate his age to be approximately 20-years-old.
FM 1485 reopened shortly after 1:00 a.m.
