For months residents on County Road 379 in Liberty County near the Montgomery County line have complained about the traffic at the Flea Markets and the danger it posed for them to get onto I-69. TXDOT installed NO PARKING signs along the state right of way to attempt to make it safer. However the signs were being ignored. Several crashes in the area prompted the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office to start issuing citations for being illegally parked. Once again today drivers are being ticketed and vehicles without drivers are being towed. In addition several driver have no drivers licenses and are also being towed.
And I’ll bet ya a lot are not legal citizens….. Of course that’ll never be enforced
