PRESS RELEASE

On June 9, Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office conducted a traffic enforcement initiative that targeted the West Montgomery County Area. Between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., 11 Pct. 5 deputies made 76 traffic stops resulting in 76 citations and 1 towed vehicle. The vehicle was towed because of the unlicensed driver. The traffic initiative was focused in the Dobbin Huffsmith and Hardin Store area due to complaints from residents in that area. The traffic initiative is one of many planned for the year.
