On Friday August 12, 2011 at approximately 430 pm, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit Patrol Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing traffic violations. The vehicle was stopped on I-45 North at FM 1488.
The Deputies received permission to search the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of 11 Kilograms of Cocaine and the vehicle. The SIU K-9 “BIANCA” gave positive alerts for contraband when ran on the vehicle. The vehicle was found to have two hidden compartments where the cocaine was concealed. The local wholesale value of the cocaine is $313,500.00
The vehicle was registered in Ohio and the driver was licensed in New York.
