Just before 5 pm, a call came through Montgomery County on a possible road rage incident. Followed by a male reported to be impersonating an officer. A Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable quickly located the reported vehicle, a 2015 Ford Fusion in the parking lot of a barber shop on FM 1314 between FM 494 and I-69. The reporter stated the male showed an ID and threatened to arrest him. What the Precinct 4 Deputy discovered was the male did have an Identification card he used. However, it was from the opposite side of a law enforcement identification card. The card was a Harris County Sheriff’s Office Inmate identification card with a piece of tape across the top. In addition, the deputy found a handgun and a quantity of Xanax. The male, identified as Yahia AlJeere, 26, of 25226 Sanitas Valley Drive in Porter, was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. He is charged with impersonation of a public servant, unlawful carry of a handgun, and possession of a controlled substance. The jail identification card was issued to him on February 8, 2023, after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Harris County. He was arrested by a Harris County Precinct 1 Deputy. He is currently out on a $100 bond in Harris County.
