SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY- Investigators believe the death of a Houston man at his place of employment in The Woodlands on Monday afternoon was the result of a bizarre industrial accident. Police and EMS were dispatched around lunch time to the Martin-Brower Company located at 825 South Trade Center Parkway, when an employee noticed his coworker slumped in a pool of blood on the floor, with severe facial trauma.
Curtis Lee Green, 38, was transported by MCHD ground ambulance to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Detective Keith Echols with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Echols said there were no eye-witnesses, but it appeared Green was caught between a trailer and one of numerous loading docks at the busy warehouse facility, which is a distribution point for the leading supplier of foods and materials to McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
Echols said there was no suspicion of foul play, but it was standard procedure for the MCSO to investigate any unattended death.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will also be investigating, he said.
