Montgomery County, TX – October 16, 2017 – Jo Ann Linzer, of Montgomery County, has announced her candidacy as the Conservative Republican for District Judge, 284th Court. After much thought and deliberation, including feedback from family, friends, and community leaders, Linzer has formally entered the race.

As a respected legal leader, officeholder and volunteer, Linzer says, “I believe my education, work related experiences, life journey, training, and certifications uniquely qualify me to fill this open spot. Additionally, my campaign structure is solid, and our team is in place and already working hard every day to talk to the many, many voters in Montgomery County.”
She continued, “I have a very clear vision on how to improve this court and how to have a tremendous impact for Montgomery County residents.” Linzer has spent her legal career serving the State of Texas and looks forward to continuing to do so from the bench.

Having grown up in The Woodlands, and as a current resident of the city of Montgomery, Linzer has deep roots in Montgomery County and a unique understanding of our community. Coupled with her vast legal background and courtroom experience, Linzer is also committed to operating a fiscally responsible court. She commented, “This court is not ‘my court’, this court is for Montgomery County residents, we pay the taxes, I want to be there to work for you.”
