Cut and Shoot Fire Department, MCHD and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported head-on collision Monday night. The crash occurred on Highline Drive, east of Crockett Martin, involving a Chevrolet pick-up with heavy damage on the front left and work van with heavy damage on the left side. According to a witness, the pick-up was travelling westbound on Crockett martin when the driver crossed the center line and hit the van.
The driver of the pick-up was arrested by DPS for driving while intoxicated. While waiting to be taken into custody, he made himself comfortable on the hood of his vehicle and fell asleep.
There were no injuries.
