Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man following an incident at 22223 Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59) about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 24).
The suspect, Johnny Reeves, 44, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead on December 25.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Williamson and M. Dykens reported:
HPD officers responded to a public lewdness call at a hotel at the above address. Upon arrival, they observed the suspect, Reeves, nude and behaving erratically. Officers detained Reeves and called for paramedics to assess the cause of his behavior. HFD paramedics then transported Reeves to a nearby hospital where he later died.
