Jeanne Cazaubon Gagliano, 89, gained her angel wings on January 27, 2021. She was born on April 22, 1931, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Harold and Marion Cazaubon. She married Charles J Gagliano Sr on April 24, 1948. They were married for 66 years until his passing in 2014. She spent 30 years as a secretary and bookkeeper at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic
Church in Westwego, Louisiana as well as St. Rita’s Catholic Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Folsom, Louisiana, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Cazaubon; mother, Marion Cazaubon; sister, Marian Moran; husband, Charles J Gagliano Sr; and son, Michael Gagliano. She is survived by her children, Chuck (Debbie) Gagliano, Bonnie (Stephen) Goodrich, Julie (Gary) Fuselier, and Hal (Val) Gagliano; grandchildren, Jesse (Priscilla) Gagliano, Jenny (Derek) Clinton, Jessica (Kendel) Alexander, Shilo Mailhos, Lauren Fuselier, Bryce (Sarah) Gagliano, Lindsey (Owen) Beamer, Austin (Dania) Gagliano and Skye Gagliano; great-grandchildren, Domanik Jones, Alexis Jones-Blacksher, Dallas Jones-Blacksher, Haley Gagliano, Bryn Mailhos, Malik Alexander, Jacob Gagliano, Bella Mailhos, Charlie Crabtree, Tucker Crabtree, Ellowyn Beamer, Mia Gagliano, Damien Beamer and Madison Gagliano; and great-great-grandson, Kingston Jones.
The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice, especially Hospice Nurse Lorrie Pidwell and the Continuous Care nurses, Linda Mumbai and Jill Wise from Accucare.
The funeral Mass will be held at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 2729 Lowerline St, New Orleans, LA at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 13, 2021; immediately followed by a graveside service at St. Louis Cemetery #3, 3421 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, LA.
