On Saturday, December 1, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1900 block of Sawdust Road, Spring, in reference to a trespasser in progress. A witness called 911 saying he saw a white man kick in the door of a building.
The suspect fled on foot with Deputies quickly establishing a perimeter around his last known location. A DPS helicopter along with MCSO K9 were dispatched to assist in the search for the suspect.
After an extensive search causing several roadways to be closed and numerous yards of residences to be checked, the suspect was located hiding underneath a vehicle at 1835 Woodland Field Crossing, Spring.
During the preliminary investigation Deputies believed this to be the same suspect that kicked in the back door of a residence in the Timber Lakes Timber Ridge Subdivision yesterday but got away. Suspect could possibly be linked to several other “kick door” burglaries in the area.
Great work by the Deputies and assisting agencies involved who refused to quit until this suspect found.
