KINGWOOD ROBBERIES SOLVED

Houston police  released surveillance photos of one of two suspects wanted for separate armed robberies outside businesses in the Kingwood Town Center and asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

The  public came through with tips that led police to the suspects who were arrested October 9.

The suspects are 18-year-olds Reginald Thomas, of 8518 Mile Run in Humble is free tonight after he posted 3 bonds for $30,000 each.  Michael  Thomas, 18 of 3221 Denmark in Houston who remains in the Harris County Jail on a total of $90,000 in bonds. Also19-year-old Wesley Thomas of 5619 Aldine Bender in Houston. Wesley Thomas, remain in  the Harris County Jail on a total of $140,000 in bonds.

Police say the Thomas’s are not related.

On September 19, two of the males displayed a pistol to a customer sitting outside Russo’s Pizzeria in Kingwood.The victim who was dining outside was robbed of his billfold and computer. The suspects fled on foot to an unseen get away car.

The second robbery was at the McDonalds just 200m feet away from Russo’s at North and Elm. That robbery occurred on September 25, 2013. There the suspects robbed a male and female sitting on their tailgate in the parking lot.

HPD Kingwood officers obtained surveillance photos of one of the suspects attempting to use the victim’s credit card to withdraw money at an ATM outside a bank at 3801 Atascocita Road.  Another photo showed the suspects’ vehicle in the bank parking lot.

Three counts of aggravated robbery have been lodged on the two.
