Just before 2am a Chevrolet pickup was westbound on FM 1097. As the driver crossed the long bridge he lost control and crossed the eastbound lanes. The truck then went through the guardrail and sunk in about twenty-feet of water. Montgomery County Precinct One Constables Office responded to the scene along with a North Montgomery County Fire Boat. A pair of jeans and tennis shoes were found on shore but have not been identified as his. Precinct 1 divers entered the water with temperatures in the thirties and heavy cold north winds. It was determined that there was nobody in the vehicle. A search on both land and water has been initiated.
