LIBERTY COUNTY, TX- The search continues Monday for a Tarkington area man reported missing August 1. Ralph Dewayne Campbell was last seen by a neighbor / friend walking near his home in the 16100 of Hwy 321, according to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

Campbell, who’s 65, is a white male, 5-feet 11-inches tall with partially gray hair. He was last seen wearing camo shorts, denim shirts with the sleeves cut off, and brown flip flops. Investigators say Campbell has serious medical issues and was recently released from the hospital.

On Sunday, August 4, LCSO Criminal Investigation Division and Texas EquuSearch (a well-known mounted civilian volunteer group) searched the area where Campbell was last known to have been. The search was suspended around 7 p.m. and resumed Monday.
