On Friday, February 7th, 2025, at approximately 7AM an unknown male was riding his bicycle while pulling a small trailer-like setup, traveling in a general east direction within the far-right shoulder for eastbound travel in the curve of FM 1485 near Huffman-Cleveland Road. At the same time, an unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound on FM 1485 Road and failed to drive in a single lane and struck the rear of the trailer and bicycle with its front right. The victim was found on-scene with no signs of life due to injuries he sustained from this crash at 715am by emergency medical professionals. At the time of the crash, this area of the roadway was dark and not properly lit with any artificial lights. There was no sidewalk or crosswalk in the general area of the crash. There were no witnesses to the crash. This case remains open and under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
