Walker County law enforcement officials and Texas Rangers Huff and Duff have suspended the on-scene investigation of the double homicide scene for the night. Deputies will remain on the scene overnight to secure the scene.
Just before 5 pm Wednesday Walker County Sheriff’s Office and Walker County EMS were dispatched to what appears to be a double homicide on M Williams Road about five miles west of Interstate 45.
Almost one hundred friends, family, and church members gathered as the investigation began.
There are still few details available as they describe the investigation in the early stages.
The area of the homicide is a quiet and very close-knit community. Residents cannot believe something like this has happened.
The victims are reported to be a 60-year-old female and her 18-month-old grandson.
