LAW ENFORCEMENT QUICKLY ARRESTS THUG WHO STOLE EQUIPMENT FROM FIRETRUCKS DURING WILDFIRE DEPLOYMENT

While the New Waverly Firefighters and other firefighters who are deployed as part of the Texas Wildland Firefighting Crew were eating dinner at a local restaurant in the Beeville, Texas area, a local criminal broke into two of the TIFMAS partners’ trucks and stole equipment needed to fight wildfires. The citizens of Beeville took a dim view of this behavior and the Beeville Police and the Texas Rangers quickly investigated and arrested Jerrick Lusk, who is now behind bars. The equipment is back on the fire trucks where it needs to be.
