On September 25th, Liberty County Sheriff’s Cpl. Sean Mitchell was notified that a warrant for Robert Corbin Smith, of the Porter, Texas area, had been issued for Sexual Assault of a Child after being reviewed by a Liberty County Grand Jury. Mitchell had worked this case earlier and based upon evidence he had obtained, had forwarded the case to the Grand Jury which returned the indictment.
Working with deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Cpl. Mitchell and LCSO Investigator Ann Marie Mitchell surrounded the home in Porter, Texas at about 5:am on September 26th and arrested Smith, without incident, on the warrant.
Cpl. Mitchell placed Corbin Robert Smith, DOB 10/18/95 in the Liberty County jail on the warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child.
