A short time ago, Humble PD dispatch received a call regarding a theft in progress at Academy on FM 1960 Bypass. Officers were promptly dispatched to the area to search for the suspect vehicle. During the search, a DPS Trooper notified officers that he had stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle. Upon making contact with the Trooper, officers confirmed the vehicle was the correct one, took three suspects into custody, and recovered the stolen merchandise. Unfortunately, it was discovered that the suspects had brought a juvenile with them to commit the theft.
