A “Silver Alert” was issued this evening for TIMOTHY WAYNE McHENRY (WM) 63, 5’-9”, 150 lbs. with blue eyes and white hair wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. Mr. McHenry has issues with dementia but is also very lucid at times. He was last seen leaving a relatives residence at 190 CR 2008 in Hardin, Texas around 1:30pm this evening driving a 2009 Honda Accord, 4 dr. gold in color with Texas License plate BJ6 H115.
The direction of travel from CR 2009 is unknown.
Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Dunn stated that Mr. McHenry is from Round Rock, Texas and was here with his family visiting relatives. It is thought the Honda vehicle only has about a quarter tank of gas in it and thus far, it is thought that Mr. McHenry has not purchased any gas since he has been missing. Deputy Dunn also advised the family normally comes to Hardin by way of Huntsville and through that direction, however, on this trip they came through Houston to Liberty County and the family doubts if Mr. McHenry would know how to find his way back to Round Rock by either direction.
The public is ask to watch for the Honda vehicle as described above and/or Mr. McHenry, himself, should he be on foot and if seen, call any local law enforcement agency or the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department at (936) 336-4500.
