This morning as I drove from Conroe to the Grangerland area I spotted a small boy at FM 3083 and FM 2090. Several bicycles were lined up along the property and a scooter. At first I felt sorry for him thinking he was selling his bicycles to get a someone else something for Christmas. I made a u-turn and went back with intentions of just giving him some money to help out. To my surprise the little sign he held was not bicycles for sale but said free bicycles. I stopped and asked him about them and he told me they were free except for the scooter, he wanted $100 for that. The sign was a little handwritten sign he was holding. Just then his father rode up on 4-wheeler and asked which one I wanted. I gave the little boy a little cash and told him Merry Christmas.
