Retired Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Andy Eason, 57, who was living in Somerville, has passed away after a short illness. Eason spent more than 30 years with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, retiring December 31, 2024. Andy was the son of retired Harris County Deputy David Eason Sr. and brother of Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constable David Eason. He was returned to Conroe Friday night with a full police escort from Somerville. Almost two dozen law enforcement officers formed a line of honor as he was moved into Eickenhorst Funeral Home on FM 2854.
