On August 3 of 2014, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit conducted a narcotics investigation on Pine Bark Lane, in Magnolia, Texas. During the course of the investigation, the origin of which stemmed from community complaints, a search warrant was obtained for a suspected residence. Upon the execution of the search warrant, two suspects were taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and other charges.
While exercising the search warrant, four improvised explosive devices were located in one building that was occupied by one of the suspects, Dale Graves. The Montgomery County Fire Marshall’s Office and The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms responded to the location to render the explosive devices safe and dispose of them.
The owner of the property was identified as Rogelio Valencia. Valencia was found to be in possession of 34 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of cocaine, and a small amount of marijuana. Additionally, $9,400 in cash was located with some of the narcotics. During the search, more than $10,000 in new merchandise from various stores was located and is believed to be stolen or proceeds from narcotic transactions. The money and merchandise was seized at the scene.

Charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, (Felony 1), and possession of a prohibited weapon “explosive”, (Felony 3), four counts.
