Just after 6:30 am Thursday Magnolia Fire Department responded to a reported car fire in the 27000 block of Pecos Ranch Road in Magnolia. Units arrived on the scene to find a travel trailer behind a mobile home fully involved. They were able to stop the blaze from spreading to the mobile home. It was then firefighters discovered the body of a male inside the travel trailer. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal has notified as well as the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office. At 11:30 am Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives along with the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office remain on the scene investigating. The victim was transported by Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
