Just after 8 am on Tuesday a Chevrolet Tahoe was southbound on FM 149 between FM 1488 and Spur 149. At the same time, a Toyota Camry was northbound. The Toyota crossed the center line striking the Tahoe head-on. Magnolia Fire was dispatched to the scene and found the driver of the Toyota, who was in his 50s deceased. The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries. DPS investigated the crash with the assistance of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division. FM 149 was closed until 11:30 am. Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables assisted with traffic control.
